Born and raised in Suffolk, I spent most of my childhood playing dress up, building fairy houses in the woods, and staying up way too late to read by a dimmer switch (yes, RIP my poor, poor eyesight...).

Stories were — and still are — my North Star. 

 

As a journalist, copywriter, marketer and creative consultant, I'm always looking for that golden narrative to weave — whether that be in reporting on new trends and deep diving topical issues, helping brands, publications or creators craft compelling and authentic campaigns, or shaping creative marketing and social media strategies.

I am especially interested in telling women's stories and now have nearly a decade of experience doing so across digital and social media, primarily focused around lifestyle, fashion, beauty and pop culture. 

 

Until its recent closure, I was Refinery29 UK's Affiliate Writer, working across both the British and American sites on dynamic shopping and branded content, audience and revenue growth, and developing commercial partnerships. As a journalist, my work has also been featured in ELLE, Stylist, Dazed, Grazia, HelloGiggles, HuffPost and Women&Home, amongst others.

​​​When I'm not working, you'll probably find me nose-deep in a good book (this time with better lighting), listening to/thinking about/discussing all things Taylor Swift (number one Swiftie over here!), getting crafty, or re-watching the same rotation of comfort films.​​ (And yes, I am still trying to catch sight of the fairies at the end of my garden...)
